The great news is that Didi and Friends Foundations has surpassed its expectations because of the support, generosity, encouragement, love and blessings from all of you.

 

Mother’s Day Drive

We kicked off the year with the Mother’s Day Drive on the 8th May in Alexandra at Phuthaditshaba Community Centre where we delivered over 100 gifts bags and shared tea with the gogo’s at the home.

 

Winter Drive

Our winter drive commenced on the 5th June just as the winter cold had started to settle in. We spent a morning with the kids at Tswaraganang in Hammanskraal where we delivered groceries and winter clothes.

 

Education

We also got to see the mobile computer lab/ study area which we donated in March fully operational and making a difference to the education of the kids at the home.

 

Amazing Grace

We ended the winter drive last Friday the 12th June at Amazing Grace in Eikenhoff where we donated school uniform vouchers worth R8000, groceries and winter clothes and shoes.

My heart is filled with gratitude from all the kindness expressed by like-minded people who form part of the foundation and my prayer is that we continue to grow stronger, share ideas and knowledge on how we can continue to contribute positively to our surrounding communities.
